A Fellow Heart Friend

I just wanted to take a minute and see if everyone would vote for a fellow friend for a day of pampering. Emily has lost 2 children to heart defects. She is now attempting to adopt but this is well deserved. She has been through so much, as I am sure all of the women on the web page have, but I have a special place for those heart kids! Please go vote for her! Thanks!

I just went to the web site and voted for Emily. My heart goes out to her in the loss of two children. I lost my precious 22 year old daughter, Emilie, to Long QT syndrome.

To learn more about a group I joined to raise awareness of sudden cardiac arrest in children, advocating cardiac physicals, and placement of AEDs in schools, gyms, and all public places go to the web site at:

www.parentheartwatch.org

You can scroll down on the picture on the upper right of the home page--click on "Browse All Stories of the Heart" and you can scroll down to Emilie's photo under the P's for our last name. I brought your web site up with my Google Alerts set on Long QT Syndrome.

God bless you and your beautiful family. I'm also in touch with SADS and Dr. Arthur J. Moss in Rochester, N.Y.--one of the premier experts in the country on Long QT Syndrome, at the University of Rochester.

Sincerely,

Christine
